Breitling Bentley
When a famous car brand and a glamorous watch manufacturer from Switzerland come together, the result is a perfect symbiosis of style, performance, elegance and precision, which is reflected in the Breitling for Bentley line. The unique design of the visually appealing luxury watches has been attracting enthusiasts since 2003 and increases the interest of collectors with every collection.
Breitling & Bentley as a success story
The basis of the collection began the year before, when the on-board watch of the new Breitling Continental GT was created in collaboration and just one year later the legendary ‘Bentley Boys’ were racing at Le Mans. Immediately after this success, the Breitling for Bentley Motors chronograph (A25362) was presented to the general public.
The collaboration only lasted until 2019, as both companies wanted to turn their attention to new projects. For the collections designed to date, this means that they have no successors and the collector's value will increase sustainably in the coming years.
Design of the Breitling Bentley
The desire for adventure is in every Breitling for Bentley. The large, masculine cases are particularly suitable for long excursions. Clearly legible dials allow the time and other additional functions such as a stopped time or the current date to be quickly recognised.
A striking feature of the design of many watches was the bezel with its relief structure, which is somewhat reminiscent of the radiator grille of various Bentley models.
Special models from the Breitling for Bentley collections
Over the course of 17 years of collaboration, truly marvellous luxury watches have been created, which generate a great deal of enthusiasm due to their appearance. The Bentley Mulliner Tourbillon, in which each watch is a customised piece, is worth mentioning in this context. Customers' wishes regarding case materials, dial colours and individual elements were taken into account during production.
The Premier Bentley Centenary is both exceptional and extremely rare. The dial made of elm root wood is unrivalled on the watch market and naturally increases the value of this luxury watch.
The various Breitling for Bentley models are particularly diverse. The various versions Bentley B06, Bentley B05 Unitime, Bentley Light Body B04 and Bentley Flying B Chronograph are among the best known.
What does a Breitling for Bentley cost
The cost and price of a Breitling Bentley are primarily determined by the collection and the number of pieces. It is hardly surprising that a Mulliner Tourbillon will cost around 50,000 euros. Other limited editions, such as the Premier Bentley Centenary Limited Edition, can fetch more than 20,000 euros when sold. The Breitling Bentley Supersports or the Breitling Bentley 6.75, which are also limited to just 100 pieces, can be found in a similar price segment.
However, entry-level models from the various collections are available from just over 3,000 euros in pre-owned condition at zeitauktion.com.
